About Face Architectural Advisor
Every two years, a competition advisor is appointed to assist Think Brick Australia in the conception of the brief, short listing of architects to be invited to participate, project management and in overseeing the jury deliberations.For About Face 2007 and 2008, Gerard Reinmuth undertook this role. For 2009 and 2010, Adrian Iredale has agreed to fulfil the valuable role.
Adrian’s Perth based practice, Iredale Pedersen Hook was Highly Commended in About Face 2007 and Adrian was a juror for the 2008 About Face competition.
Adrian has extensive experience in projects including single residential, multi residential, environmental, urban design and institutional. Adrian has worked in Berlin, Germany as a ‘project architect’ with Professor Manfred Schiedhelm creating new housing prototypes for up to 10,000 residents and completed post graduate studies as an invited guest student at the Stadelschule Frankfurt, Germany under Professor Peter Cook and the late Professor Enric Miralles. He is currently enrolled in the Masters by project by invitation at RMIT University under the supervision of Professor Leon van Schaik.
